DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
PFGA is an Architecture and Construction Management firm started in 1974, that is seeking a part-time, experienced, detail-oriented communications professional to serve as its Director of Marketing to work from our White Plains, NY office. Under the general supervision of the Principals and Office Manager, the Director will develop strategies and implementing campaigns focusing on marketing, business development and general brand awareness. This individual will help develop and manage all marketing/communications needs for the firm, including all marketing/advertising material, website supervision and social media channels. In addition, he/she will be responsible for the firm’s public, media and press relations. Responsibilities include:
Developing and executing Marketing and Communications plans
Developing, implementing and measuring branding activities across all media
Developing social media strategies, website and content
Developing of all external marketing materials and publications
Developing and submitting story ideas to the media
Attending marketing functions
Creating face-to-face business opportunities
Cultivating and building business relationships
Coordinating with staff and managing the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic materials including: print newsletters, press releases, brochures, Website, email newsletters, and digital/social media channels
The ideal candidate must possess a BA or BS in Marketing, Communications or Business; 3-5 years marketing experience, be highly organized with networking skills and must be able to converse in a professional manner with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of digital media, including social media
Good computer skills: Word, Excel and graphic design programs (Adobe InDesign)
Good design eye for graphics, layout and design
Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a tea
