Get educated, inspired, and connected to take your place in reducing the carbon footprint of the built environment at Designing the Clean Energy Future Now! an all-day, in-person symposium presented by the AIA Westchester Hudson Valley Committee on the Environment.  Learn and be inspired by experts and thought leaders in sustainable design, practice, and financing in four education sessions, each followed by a round table discussion and Q and A. Network with other architects, design professionals and builders and public officials over a continental breakfast, beverages and a buffet lunch included in your registration. Connect with reps and manufacturers of products and materials.

The location, Hotel MTK in Mount Kisco, has plenty of parking and is a short taxi ride from the Mount Kisco MTA Harlem Line station.

AIA W+HV A.R.E. SCHOLARSHIP

Are you or someone you know preparing or taking their Architect Registration Examinations (ARE)?

Did you know that the AIA Westchester + Hudson Valley has a scholarship designed just for this pursuit!  Intended to recognize Associate AIA members in the AIA Westchester + Hudson Valley Chapter who have made significant contributions at an early stage in their careers to the profession and encourage their pursuit of licensure.

Scholarship recipients receive:

  • A one-time reimbursement for the cost of passing each single division of the A.R.E.

  • The full amount of the scholarship (up to $1,470.00, scholarship for the number of division the candidate took) will be presented to the recipient at a year-end event. This scholarship is subject to all applicable local, state, and federal taxes

The Land Use Law Center is pleased to announce the 22nd annual Alfred B. DelBello Land Use and Sustainable Development Conference. Scheduled for December 7 - 8, 2023, this year’s conference theme is Balancing Economic Realities with Environmental and Social Concerns.

As in previous years, the Land Use Law Center has been working on developing a conference program that will showcase innovative best practices in land use and sustainable development.
