Join us for an exclusive tour of Lasting Joy Brewery, a thoughtfully repurposed agricultural structure transformed into a contemporary brewery and tasting room, led by project architect Aron Himmelfarb, founder of Auver design studio. This guided tour will explore the design strategies behind the adaptive reuse of a former farm building into a vibrant community destination. Attendees will gain insight into how the project balances preservation and innovation, maintaining the character of the existing structure while introducing new spatial, structural, and material interventions.
The architect will discuss the integration of timber framing and modern construction systems, the organization of production and public-facing spaces, and the role of materiality in shaping the visitor experience. The project’s site planning approach—including the deliberate positioning of parking and landscape elements to prioritize views and arrival sequence—will also be examined.
The experience concludes with a tasting of the house made beers on tap which are made on site with locally grown ingredients, paired with a curated food selection. This tour is a must-attend event for those interested in architecture, design, and the production of craft beer.
