Position Details: All The Details designs and fabricates custom steel, bronze, and aluminum windows and doors for architects, interior designers, and builders across Fairfield County, Westchester, and New York City. We are looking for a business development contact based in New York City who understands how architecture firms actually work.
This role fits someone with an architecture background who wants project exposure without sitting at a desk full time. It also works well as a side project alongside an existing design practice, or as a starting point for someone who wants to grow into a larger role with us over time.
What you would do: Build relationships with architects, interior designers, and builders in the New York City market. Introduce them to our steel, bronze, and aluminum window and door systems. Attend project meetings, walk through specifications, and connect design teams with our estimating and production staff when a project moves forward.
Who fits: Someone with a degree or working background in architecture, or a few years in a design adjacent role, who already knows how to talk to architects about materials, tolerances, and finish systems. You should be comfortable in a room with a principal architect and just as comfortable following up by email a week later. Familiarity with terms like operable sightlines, thermal break, or finish specification is a plus, though we will teach you our product line in depth.
Compensation: Daily rate plus commission on closed projects. This structure rewards people who show up consistently and also close business, not just one or the other.
Logistics: Based in New York City. Some travel to project sites and to our Connecticut office as needed. Flexible schedule, built around meetings and project timing rather than a fixed nine to five.
