This October, The Fullerton and collaborators are hosting a dynamic weekend with 25+ events focused on the city's architecture, preservation & community.
Home to the second-largest historic district in New York State, Archtober Newburgh will celebrate the city’s rich tapestry of architecture, preservation, and community the weekend of October 3-5, 2025. Only one in the Hudson Valley, Archtober Newburgh is an annual festival with free programs to honor the city’s shared cultural treasures, raise awareness about their significance, and engage a broader audience in neighborhood preservation efforts.
The festival is organized in partnership with AIA Westchester + Hudson Valley and presented as part of @Archtober, NYC's annual architecture and design festival.
AIA credits pending.
archtobernewburgh INTRODUCING: Architect's Bookshelf
As part of Archtober Newburgh, we have created the Architect's Bookshelf A fun book drive in which architects (from all over) can donate a book that has influenced their creative journey. We match them with a local NFA and Youth Build student interested in architecture, design and urbanism. A personal note on the book's significance is encouraged.
A casual mixer for all will be hosted on October 3rd, 5pm at @ads_warehouse_newburgh to further build connections with students and professionals.

Architects, please share this with your networks!
You can donate a book from your collection or purchase a book at our local independent bookstore, @golden_hour_newburgh via their bookshop.org shop (link in bio).
This program is presented by Latinos in Architecture of AIA Westchester and Hudson Valley and Archtober Newburgh. Book donations can also be brought to the September 30 Annual meeting
