DESCRIPTION: Creative Wellness and Design of All
We wanted to offer a CEU that gives architects and designers a chance to truly step away from their work to reconnect with their initial passion for their work and why they got into the industry to begin with. Many are in the industry because they are creative designers, and design is their creative outlet. However, the constant pressure of their workload often puts them on autopilot, leaving no time for anything beyond their current responsibilities. This pace can easily lead to burnout, which affects both their projects and overall well-being.
The Creative Wellness CEU focuses on addressing these issues by identifying common barriers to creativity and providing practical tools and resources to help prevent burnout and support a healthier work-life balance.
Design for All explores how inclusive, purpose-driven design can enhance collective
well-being by addressing the interconnection between human health, social connection,
technology and environmental responsibility. Through five key lenses — Wellbeing,
Connection, Learning, Experience, and Thriving — we explore how design can create
shared spaces that foster belonging, support regeneration, and shape a more joyful future for all.
